Vermentino Casanova La Spinetta 2022

The Toscana Vermentino IGT Casanova by La Spinetta is an expressive white wine made from 100% Vermentino grapes grown in the sandy, marine-origin soils of Terricciola, Pisa. This unique terroir imparts a distinctive minerality and aromatic character, resulting in a wine that captures the Mediterranean spirit of the region.

Fermented with native yeasts and aged for around 5 months in stainless steel on its lees, this Vermentino develops a rich bouquet of white flowers, citrus, and Mediterranean herbs, complemented by mineral and salty nuances. The palate is fresh, sapid, and well-balanced, making it a perfect match for seafood and light vegetable dishes.

Ideal as an aperitif or with dishes like linguine with clams or artichokes alla giudia, this wine offers both versatility and identity. With an annual production of about 50,000 bottles, Vermentino Casanova is a fine ambassador of Tuscan coastal whites with a modern edge.
