Trentodoc
Trentodoc is one of Italy’s finest expressions of classic method sparkling wine, crafted exclusively in the alpine region of Trentino, between the Dolomites and Lake Garda. This prestigious designation, established in 1993, brings together producers committed to quality, terroir, and elegance.
Trentodoc wines are made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Meunier, all grown in high-altitude vineyards. The cool mountain climate, clean air, and mineral-rich soils contribute to the wine’s hallmark freshness, finesse, and crisp acidity. Known as “mountain bubbles”, Trentodoc combines tradition with altitude to produce vibrant, long-aged sparkling wines.
Aging on the lees ranges from 15 months for non-vintage bottles to over 10 years for Riservas, developing complex aromas of bread crust, toasted nuts, candied citrus, and flint, with a fine, persistent mousse and vibrant minerality.
Trentodoc is perfect as an aperitif, yet it also shines throughout the meal: pair it with shellfish, oysters, sushi, truffle-based pasta, soft cheeses, or roasted white meats. Brut Nature and Dosaggio Zero versions offer dryness and tension for connoisseurs, while long-aged Riservas provide structure, elegance, and depth.
At Grandi Bottiglie, you’ll find a refined selection of Trentodoc sparkling wines from top producers and boutique wineries, ideal for special occasions, fine dining, or collectors looking for Italian excellence.
