Trento Spumante Riserva Extra Brut “1673” 2015 Cesarini Sforza
The Trento Riserva Extra Brut “1673” 2015 by Cesarini Sforza embodies the excellence of Trentino’s Metodo Classico tradition, showcasing elegance, minerality and complexity. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes cultivated on the porphyry-rich slopes of Val di Cembra, at 550–700 meters above sea level, this sparkling wine benefits from significant day-night temperature variations that enhance aromatic concentration and freshness.
Harvesting is carried out by hand in early September, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation of the free-run must in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the wine ages for over 70 months on the lees, gaining remarkable finesse and creamy depth.
Golden in color with a fine, persistent perlage, the nose reveals elegant aromas of field flowers, citrus peel, ripe yellow fruit, honey and pastry. The palate is fresh, structured and harmonious, marked by vibrant acidity and a savory, mineral finish. Long, complex and beautifully balanced, it represents the quintessence of mountain Chardonnay.
The “1673” Riserva Extra Brut stands among Cesarini Sforza’s flagship wines, a Metodo Classico for connoisseurs seeking finesse and character. Perfect as an aperitif, or paired with seafood, shellfish, delicate pastas or aged cheeses.
