Valentino Brut Elena 2020 is a millesimato Metodo Classico sparkling wine by Rocche dei Manzoni, one of the pioneers of sparkling winemaking in Piedmont. First produced in 1978, it was the very first traditional method wine made in the Langhe, now a benchmark for quality and finesse.
Made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, grown sustainably on low-yield vineyards (45–50 q/ha), the wine undergoes classic vinification with 30–36 months aging on the lees, manual riddling, and dégorgement, followed by 6 months in bottle before release.
In the glass, it shows brilliant straw yellow color and fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers white peach, loquat, apricot, floral notes of elderflower, and a gentle hint of fresh bread crumb.
The palate is fresh, savory, and well-balanced, with a touch of citrus zest, creamy bubbles, and a long, vibrant finish. A sparkling wine of character and delicacy, perfect both for celebrations and refined pairings.
