Gavi DOCG “La Meirana” by Broglia is the winery’s most iconic and representative wine, proudly bearing the name of the historic Meirana estate, a property documented since medieval times. It perfectly expresses the character of Gavi’s terroir.
Made from 100% Cortese grapes grown in the Comune di Gavi at 290–300 meters a.s.l., on clay-limestone soils with southeast exposure, this white wine undergoes fermentation and ageing exclusively in stainless steel tanks to retain its vibrant freshness and purity.
It shows a straw yellow color with greenish highlights, offering a bouquet of fresh white flowers and ripe fruit. On the palate, it is dry, well-balanced, and marked by a classic almond-like finish, a distinctive hallmark of the finest Gavi wines.
“La Meirana” is a versatile food wine, pairing beautifully with fish dishes, white meats, shellfish, and light starters from both sea and land.
