Description

Gavi “Il Doge” 2021 Broglia

Gavi DOCG “Il Doge” by Broglia is a refined and expressive white wine from Piedmont, made from 100% Cortese grapes grown in the estate’s youngest vineyards. These plots lie in the heart of the Gavi appellation, one of the most prestigious white wine areas in northern Italy.

In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow color, while the nose reveals delicate floral and fruity aromas, with hints of citrus, white peach and wildflowers.

On the palate, it is fresh, lively and pleasantly acidic, with great drinkability. It’s the perfect white for aperitifs, light starters, Mediterranean dishes, white meats and seasonal vegetables or seafood.

The name “Il Doge” pays homage to the historical connection between this land and the Republic of Genoa. A versatile and elegant white wine that speaks of tradition, terroir and pleasure.
