Trentodoc Rosé Brut Abate Nero
The Abate Nero Rosé Brut Trentodoc is a sparkling wine of mountain origin, crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Traditional Method. With a delicate color and lively personality, it’s the ideal rosé for aperitifs and refined pairings.
Grapes are harvested from hillside vineyards above Trento and Lavis, where cool climates and day-night temperature shifts enhance aroma development and maintain high acidity. The Chardonnay is vinified as a white wine, while the Pinot Noir undergoes a short skin maceration, giving the wine its rosé hue and red fruit notes.
Base wines rest in stainless steel tanks before being blended and bottled for second fermentation, followed by 18 months of lees aging.
In the glass, it shows a brilliant pink hue, with a fine and persistent mousse. The nose opens with red berry notes, pomegranate, wild herbs, and floral hints. On the palate, it’s lively, creamy, and fresh, with a juicy core of fruit and a salty-mineral finish, typical of mountain sparkling wines.
Perfect with aperitifs, light starters, seafood, Asian cuisine, or gourmet pizzas.
