ROCCHE DEI MANZONI

Rocche dei Manzoni was established in 1974 by Valentino Migliorini, a visionary Michelin-starred chef turned winemaker. Nestled in Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, the estate quickly became a benchmark for innovation in Piedmontese winemaking. In 1976, Migliorini created the first Langa blend, Bricco Manzoni (Nebbiolo and Barbera), followed by the launch of Metodo Classico sparkling wines in 1978 and the introduction of barriques, a novelty at the time.

The estate spans 50 hectares, all within the Monforte d’Alba area, reflecting a deep bond with the terroir. Rocche dei Manzoni follows a low-intervention philosophy in the cellar, allowing the wines to express their full character. Since 2008, the use of concrete eggs alongside oak barrels has refined the style, resulting in wines with remarkable elegance and silkiness.

Their Pianpolvere Soprano estate in Bussia, managed organically, showcases their commitment to sustainability and excellence. Rocche dei Manzoni is a true symbol of Langhe tradition, reimagined through innovation and uncompromising quality.
