Vino Rosato Helios Alberand
Helios is Alberand’s expressive rosé wine, born from the blend of red grape varieties grown at around 350 meters above sea level, on alluvial soils rich in silt and clay. The vineyards, exposed to the south and southeast and aged between 40 and 60 years, produce grapes of great aromatic depth and balance.
Harvested by hand in mid-September, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. After a brief cold settling to clarify the must, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts. The wine then matures for 6 months in steel and an additional 2 months in bottle, maintaining its aromatic purity and lively freshness.
Helios shows a pale antique pink color with orange reflections. The nose reveals delicate yet expressive notes of fresh fruit, white flowers, and wild rose, alongside hints of tropical fruit and syrupy peach. On the palate, it stands out for its crisp freshness and saline finish, offering a smooth and refreshing tasting experience.
Versatile and inviting, Helios pairs beautifully with summer dishes, appetizers, light meats, and pizza, or enjoyed on its own during an aperitif with friends. A sincere and modern rosé that embodies the convivial soul of the Alberand winery.
