Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC 2024 Maccario Dringenberg
The Rossese di Dolceacqua 2024 is produced in Western Liguria, between Val Verbone and Val Nervia, from six vineyards located in the Berna, Novilla and Santa Croce areas of San Biagio della Cima. The vines, trained in traditional Provençal bush system, include both young vineyards and parcels over 50 years old, planted on calcareous and marine-origin conglomerate soils at elevations between 250 and 400 meters above sea level, mainly facing south-east.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures around 27°C, with approximately two weeks of skin contact supported by pump-overs and délestage. Malolactic fermentation and ageing occur in stainless steel, preserving varietal purity and freshness.
The nose shows classic notes of white pepper, fresh red berries, white currant and hints of rhubarb. On the palate it is light yet structured, fresh and mineral, driven by vibrant acidity and a savory finish. An authentic and gastronomic expression of Rossese di Dolceacqua.
