This tasting box is designed to showcase how Sauvignon Blanc changes character along the Loire Valley, expressing distinct identities shaped by each terroir.
In Pouilly-Fumé, with the 2022 from Langlois-Château, we find the grape’s most iconic and mineral expression: citrus-driven, precise, with the characteristic flinty “fumé” note derived from silex-rich soils.
In Touraine Oisly, with the “Fabel Barbou” 2021 from Domaine des Corbillières, sandy soils rich in quartz and flint produce a broader, more mature style, where exotic fruit and white flowers meet a soft, enveloping minerality.
Finally, in Menetou-Salon, with the Morogues 2022 from Domaine Pellé, the profile becomes more taut and elegant: here Sauvignon expresses crystalline freshness, balance, and subtle vegetal notes typical of limestone hillside vineyards.
Three appellations, three interpretations, one single variety: a journey that highlights the deep connection between grape and terroir.
