Champagne L’Héritage Maison Pierre Trichet
Champagne L’Héritage by Pierre Trichet represents one of the Maison’s most emblematic expressions: a Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs that showcases the finesse of Chardonnay from the prestigious villages of Trois-Puits, Cormontreuil and Rilly-la-Montagne in the Montagne de Reims. Crafted with precision and a dedication to purity, this cuvée undergoes 4–5 years of lees ageing, acquiring depth and complexity while preserving a bright, vibrant style. After disgorgement, the wine rests for at least 6 additional months, allowing the texture to soften and the aromatic spectrum to fully unfold.
In the glass, it reveals a brilliant yellow hue with green-gold tints, accompanied by a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with fresh lemon and citrus notes, followed by floral and menthol nuances, hints of fennel, and a delicate creamy undertone that enhances the wine’s balance. On the palate, L’Héritage is lively, silky and precise, driven by citrus-infused freshness and a long, elegant finish enriched with subtle touches of violet.
This Champagne embodies a classic and versatile style, approachable yet capable of impressing seasoned enthusiasts thanks to its purity and harmonious structure. It shines as an elegant aperitif, pairing beautifully with lemon meringue tart or choucroute, while offering striking contrast alongside boeuf bourguignon with prunes or aromatic Thai cuisine, where its freshness and finesse complement spices and richer textures.
