Champagne L’Authentique Rosé Maison Pierre Trichet
The L’Authentique Rosé Brut from Maison Pierre Trichet is one of the estate’s most distinctive cuvées, showcasing a masterful blend and strong expression of the Montagne de Reims terroirs. The assemblage combines 82% Premier Cru white wine (53% Pinot Meunier, 24% Pinot Noir, 23% Chardonnay) with 18% red wine sourced from Trigny, giving the Champagne its structure, depth and vivid aromatic personality. Grapes come from renowned villages such as Trois-Puits, Montbré, Rilly-la-Montagne, Ludes, Cormontreuil and Taissy, all known for chalk-rich soils that provide finesse and natural freshness.
Aged 2 to 3 years on the lees, and disgorged at least six months before release, the wine retains vibrancy and harmony. In the glass, it displays a bright orange-pink colour, with lively effervescence and a steady mousse. The nose opens with red berries, stewed strawberries, orange, grapefruit, alongside vanilla and exotic hints, forming a rich and generous aromatic palette.
On the palate, the Champagne reveals both freshness and maturity, with flavours of rhubarb, honey and gingerbread, reflecting the wine’s development and its 7.8 g/l Brut dosage, which perfectly balances roundness and tension. The structure is harmonious, with a fruit-driven and citrus-tinged finish.
Perfect for pairing, it shines with “tone-on-tone” desserts like red-fruit sorbet, rhubarb or blackcurrant, as well as contrasting dishes such as pink duck breast with cranberry sauce. A classic yet original rosé Champagne, accessible to a broad audience but refined enough for seasoned palates.
