Champagne Rosé de Saignée Premier Cru Pierre Trichet
The Rosé de Saignée Premier Cru by Pierre Trichet is a truly exclusive Champagne, personally signed by the winemaker and produced in only 1573 individually numbered bottles. Sourced from the Premier Cru village of Trois-Puits, this cuvée is made from a blend of 70% Pinot Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir, created using the traditional saignée method. This gentle maceration technique naturally extracts colour and aromatic depth, resulting in a rosé Champagne of remarkable intensity and authenticity.
In the glass, it displays a vibrant raspberry-pink hue with ruby highlights, accompanied by a delicate mousse and a fine, energetic stream of bubbles forming a persistent collar. The aromatic profile is captivating: the first nose evokes velvety red rose petals, followed by blood orange, raspberry, blackberry and sloe. As the wine opens, additional layers emerge—pomelo, blackcurrant, cherry, wild strawberry, and subtle floral hints of spiced violet and poppy.
On the palate, the Champagne is soft, bright and creamy, offering a juicy, pulpy fruit core enhanced by lively orange and pomelo acidity. A distinctive chalky minerality shapes the mid-palate, adding precision, salinity and length while amplifying the wine’s aromatic resonance. The finish is succulent, floral and beautifully persistent, showcasing the generous fruit character obtained through meticulous grape selection and extraction. Designed for pure, immediate pleasure, this Rosé de Saignée shines when paired with sushi, tuna tataki, Parma ham, tapas, burrata with grilled vegetables, or red-fruit desserts. A contemporary, expressive and uniquely memorable rosé Champagne.
