The Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2020 originates from vines planted on light clay, limestone, and marine fossil soils with the best exposure of the cru. Chardonnay grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, including natural malolactic fermentation, with no added yeasts.
The wine is aged 12 months in stainless steel, 6 months on fine lees, followed by 6 months in traditional oak barrels, only 15% new. This process ensures balance between freshness and complexity, highlighting the terroir’s minerality, tension, and aromatic richness.
In the glass, it shows a deep, luminous straw-yellow color, with aromas of ripe citrus, white fruit, white flowers, and saline notes, enriched by subtle hints of hazelnut, almond, and deep minerality. On the palate, it is luminous, energetic, and powerful, with flawless sapid-mineral texture, long persistence, and aristocratic elegance.
