Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva “Bossona” 2015 Cantine Dei
The 2015 Bossona Riserva is one of the finest expressions of Sangiovese from Montepulciano and embodies Cantine Dei’s philosophy of excellence rooted in tradition. Grapes come from the historic Bossona vineyard, planted in 1961 by Alibrando Dei, situated at 350-400 meters above sea level on pliocenic soils rich in tuff, stones, and fossils, imparting structure, minerality, and a unique character. Hand-harvested and rigorously selected, the grapes undergo gentle pressing followed by an extended maceration on the skins for 28-30 days, extracting maximum aroma and tannins while preserving elegance.
Aging takes place over 36 months, at least 20 of which in Slavonian oak tonneaux, followed by further bottle maturation, allowing the wine to develop unrivaled complexity, harmony, and depth. The wine shows a deep ruby color with garnet highlights, elegant aromas of violet, forest floor, and spices, and a full, balanced, persistent palate.
The 2015 Bossona Riserva is perfect for those who appreciate structured yet refined wines, ideal for special occasions, elegant dinners, or private collections. Every sip tells the story of the territory, the Dei family, and their dedication to quality, offering a complete sensory experience that combines elegance, power, and authenticity.
