Description

Meursault Le Meix Sous Le Chateau 2019 Jean Philippe Fichet

Meursault Le Meix Sous Le Chateau 2019 is a French white wine from Burgundy produced by Jean Philippe Fichet. It is obtained from Chardonnay grapes that come from a parcel located in the homonymous village facing west, sheltered from the north winds. This terroir has little sun in the morning but benefits from a concentration of heat in the afternoon thanks to its orientation. In the lower part of the vineyard, the soil is generous there while the top is more stony. This Meursault Le Meix Sous Le Chateau in Fichet has a nice balance between wealth and minerality. It is a fascinating wine that expresses notes of butter and brioche together with aromas of ripe yellow fruits.
