Auxey-Duresses Patience n°12 2019 Agnes Paquet
Auxey-Duresses Blanc Blanc Patience N°12 2019 is the most interesting white wine label in Agnes Paquet's range. The Chardonnay grapes come from very old vines of around 85 years old that grow in the part of the appellation closest to the commune of Meursaul..and it shows!
Superior to many Meursault Villages, this Blanc Patience N°12 is matured for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, then 4 months in vats. It expresses on the nose a multifaceted bouquet of peach, bergamot, white flowers, nutmeg and vanilla notes.
These scents will intensify with a few years of bottle ageing, to which this Burgundy white is predisposed. The sip is both elegant and creamy, very persistent, ending with a pleasant savoury trail.
