The Collio Bianco 2020 by Edi Keber is a white wine that perfectly represents the essence of the Friulian Collio, a territory rich in winemaking history and naturally suited for producing elegant and complex whites. It is a masterful blend of Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, and Ribolla Gialla, three native grape varieties that together convey the aromatic richness and structural depth of the Zegla hillside. The vineyards, cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic farming, are planted on ponka soils, a characteristic alternation of calcareous marl and sandstone typical of this area, giving the wines freshness, minerality, and unique depth. Each cluster is carefully tended, respecting natural ripening times, and all the grapes are destined for this single label, making Collio Bianco a true flagship of the Keber winery.
Vinification takes place entirely in cement tanks, a choice that preserves the varietal purity and freshness of the three grapes without adding any woody influence. Here the wine matures for over a year, developing harmony between structure, acidity, and complex aromas, while never losing its distinctive character. The result is a white wine that combines the body and substance of Friulano, the delicate spiciness of Malvasia Istriana, and the juicy freshness of Ribolla Gialla, offering a perfect balance of softness, sapidity, and persistence.
