Alta Langa San Bartomé 2019 by Anna Maria Abbona is a Metodo Classico Alta Langa DOCG sparkling wine that reflects the spumante vocation of Piedmont’s highest hills. Crafted from a meticulous selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, grown in high-altitude vineyards on marl and limestone soils, this wine delivers elegance, freshness, and aromatic depth.
Hand-harvested and gently pressed to preserve grape integrity, the base wine ferments in stainless steel before a long maturation on the lees in bottle—well over 30 months—according to Alta Langa DOCG standards. The result is an exceptionally fine and persistent perlage, with a bouquet ranging from citrus and green apple to white flowers, bread crust, and delicate hazelnut notes.
On the palate, San Bartomé 2019 stands out for its balance and structure: the crisp freshness of high-altitude fruit merges with creamy softness and a savory, mineral finish.
