“De Miranda” Asti Spumante DOCG 2019 by Contratto is a tribute to the Moscato grape, the emblem of the Canelli hills and a cornerstone of the winery’s history. This refined sparkling wine expresses the authentic character of its terroir through freshness, aromatic purity, and exceptional finesse.
Made from 100% Moscato grapes grown in the vineyards of Canelli, it undergoes a one-month fermentation in autoclave, followed by aging on the lees in stainless steel and a further 30 months of maturation, resulting in remarkable depth and balance.
In the glass, it shines bright straw-yellow with a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet reveals notes of ripe fruit, white flowers, and aromatic herbs, enriched by hints of white peach, honey, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is sweet yet vibrant, creamy and well-balanced, offering a delicate minerality that enhances its freshness.
