List of products by brand ANNA MARIA ABBONA

In the rolling hills of the Langhe, in Dogliani, Anna Maria Abbona preserves a deep connection with her terroir. From historic Dolcetto crus, with vines over 50 years old, she crafts authentic wines born from organic farming and respect for tradition. Dolcetto di Dogliani, alongside Nebbiolo, Barbera, and native whites, expresses the freshness, elegance, and aromatic richness of this unique land.

Anna Maria Abbona is inseparable from Dogliani, her native terroir. Here, in Moncucco di Farigliano—charming yet rugged—Dolcetto di Dogliani DOCG reigns supreme. Since the 1980s, Anna Maria has believed in the potential of Dolcetto, even when Nebbiolo was the safer bet. Her vision succeeded not only because she owns some of the finest Dolcetto crus, with vines over 70 years old, but also thanks to her choice to embrace organic farming, preserving the integrity of the land.

A Slow Food “Chiocciola” winery, Anna Maria Abbona is dedicated body and soul to producing Dolcetto of great depth, now recognized among Piedmont’s finest reds. The terroir plays a key role: among Dolcetto appellations, Dogliani is perhaps the most distinctive and multifaceted. In this corner of the Alta Langa, Dolcetto is both soft and fragrant, fresh yet structured, savory and elegant. Calcareous white soils with marl and sandstone impart wines of deep ruby with violet highlights, aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and morello cherry, with hints of undergrowth, licorice, and tobacco.

Highlights include Maioli, a Dogliani Superiore from old, perfectly exposed vines: long, intense, harmonious, and surprisingly age-worthy. San Bernardo, aged in wood, is a “mini-Barolo” in class and roundness. For those who love Dolcetto in its purest form, Sorì dij But is vertical, fragrant, and vibrant.

Beyond Dolcetto, the winery crafts a top-level Riesling, L’Alman, mineral and long-lived, and a traditional Barolo DOCG from Castiglione Falletto—crunchy yet powerful—alongside the cru Bricco San Pietro, more tertiary and complex. The range is completed by Nascetta Netta, the intriguing and distinctive native white of the Langhe.
