Vosne Romanee 2017 Georges Noellat
Vosne Romanee 2017 is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Georges Noellat. The Pinot Noir grapes from the Village of Vosne-Romanee that make up this cuvée come from 5 different climates, but mainly from Champs Perdrix, above Aux Reignots, on shallow draining soils. Always considered the best among the municipal plots, it gives wines of great elegance, like this Vosne Romanée base which is a very refined wine. Bright ruby red in color, it expresses a complex and harmonious nose of dried flowers, prickly pears and spices such as green pepper. The sip is still a bit shifted on the hardness, with a remarkable freshness and flavor balanced by alcohol, together with a delicate and silky tannin. A wine with a great predisposition to aging, it will reach its balance with time.
