St Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly 2014 – Marc Colin
St Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly 2014 is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Marc Colin. Around 14,000 bottles are made of this label, crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from the most prestigious 1er Cru vineyard in Saint-Aubin, which continues seamlessly into the renowned Chassagne-Montrachet appellation.
The grapes come from vines planted between 1970 and 1990, growing on clay-limestone soils with a southwest-facing exposure. The wine is vinified and aged in oak barrels.
This Saint-Aubin 1er Cru by Marc Colin has a deep straw yellow color and offers a complex bouquet of flowers, particularly broom, along with marked minerality and spicy notes. The aromas evolve constantly as the wine oxygenates in the glass. On the palate, it is very fresh, tense, and savory, leaning toward structural sharpness but balanced by generous body and warmth, resulting in a harmonious and highly enjoyable wine
