Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2019 Cantine Dei
Cantine Dei’s 2019 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is the embodiment of Montepulciano’s winemaking heritage and the Dei family’s devotion to their land. The Sangiovese grapes, complemented by small amounts of other varietals, come from the historic La Ciarliana vineyard at 300 meters above sea level.
The clay and sandy soils provide body, elegance, and remarkable aging potential. Hand-harvesting and gentle fermentation in stainless steel with extended maceration preserve aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and subtle floral notes.
Aging for at least 24 months, including 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 50 hl, enhances complexity, harmony, and a refined, persistent structure. On the palate, silky tannins and lively acidity are perfectly balanced, with a long, enveloping finish. Ideal with roasts, game, truffle dishes, or aged cheeses, the 2019 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano delivers a full sensory experience that tells the story, culture, and uniqueness of Montepulciano in every sip.
