Verdicchio Classico Superiore "Colle Bianco" 2021 Edoardo Dottori

This pleasant Verdicchio Classico Superiore comes to us from the winery of Edoardo Dottori, a young and talented producer from the province of Ancona. The grapes come from vineyards over 30 years old located on rolling limestone hills around Jesi, in the classic Verdicchio production area.

The management of the vineyards follows the principles of organic viticulture, with the utmost respect for natural balances. After a light pressing, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature. A short aging on yeasts follows before bottling.

The wine is bright straw yellow in color. The nose expresses floral aromas of hawthorn and delicate notes of white-fleshed fruit, almond and anise. The palate is streamlined and dynamic, with a fresh citrus streak emerging on the finish. A supple and pleasant wine, perfect with appetizers, seafood starters and baked fish.
