Sancerre Les Denisottes 2020 is a fine wine from the French region of the Loire. Claude Riffault company lays the foundations of their production philosophy by making wine from vineyards from separate plots to best represent their terroir characteristics, as well as meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar, based on principles of biodynamic agriculture.
The Sancerre Les Denisottes 2020 is made from grapes from 2 parcels of vineyards over 40 years old which over time have integrated into the terroir kimmeridgen. Their perfect south-east exposure, attention to work in the vineyard and cellar give life to a classy cuvée, composed of a refined floral nose and smoked notes accompanied by lemon zest, spices, a hint of rubber.
A wide mineral spectrum of rock follows, gunpowder, in a long and fresh vegetable finish. In the mouth there is a hint of crunchy fresh fruit, white fruit such as pear, apple and anans, lime. A wine with a remarkable structure and a nice bitter and smoked finish. Perhaps still a little rough today, he will give his best in 3-5 years.
