Champagne Impressions Delalot
The Champagne Impressions by Maison Delalot is a cuvée that fully embodies the bold character of Meunier and its terroir. It comes from old vines planted in 1971 in the single parcel Les Boulards, located in the Vallée de la Marne. Thanks to their deep root system, these vines produce grapes with remarkable expressiveness and concentration.
The winemaking is entirely carried out in new oak barrels, purchased every year specifically for this cuvée. The one-year maturation in wood enhances the wine’s structure and aromatic depth, balancing the strong fruity character of Meunier with delicate smoky and spicy nuances. To preserve its authenticity, the Champagne is bottled without dosage (0 g/l), resulting in a precise, vibrant, and mineral-driven expression.
On the nose, Impressions offers aromas of baked pear, candied citrus, and subtle smoky tones. The palate is powerful, ample, and mineral, perfectly balancing structure and freshness, with a lingering and memorable finish.
A Champagne of great personality, ideal for enthusiasts of uncompromising Blanc de Meunier, it pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, white meats, and refined contemporary cuisine, or can be enjoyed on its own as a pure terroir-driven experience.
