The grapes are sourced from a selection of top vineyards in the Golan Heights, a volcanic plateau known for its high elevation, cool climate and mineral-rich soils, which provide the perfect conditions for producing Cabernet of depth, structure and elegance.
After careful vinification, the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which are new, striking a perfect balance between varietal purity and the complexity conferred by oak. The result is a wine of remarkable aromatic expression: ripe blackcurrant, plum and red berries are layered with hints of tobacco, earthy tones, fresh herbs and subtle spice, underpinned by the finesse of French oak.
On the palate, the Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is rich, full-bodied and concentrated, with polished tannins and a long, lingering finish. It is enjoyable upon release but has excellent aging potential, developing greater complexity and sophistication over 10+ years from vintage.
