Golan Heights Winery is a benchmark of Israeli winemaking and a global symbol of the wines of the Golan Heights. Established in 1983 by four kibbutzim and four moshavim, the winery was created to showcase the unique characteristics of the region: basalt volcanic soils, elevated vineyards, and a cool high-altitude climate, conditions comparable to great wine regions such as Bordeaux or Tuscany. The first vineyard was planted in 1976, and the first wine, a Yarden Sauvignon Blanc in 1984, marked the beginning of a journey of innovation and quality.

The winery is renowned for producing premium kosher wines that have quickly gained international acclaim. Its main labels include: Yarden, the flagship brand inspired by the Jordan River; Golan, dedicated to the Golan Heights; Gamla, named after a historic city; and Hermon, representing complex and structured wines that reflect the grandeur of Mount Hermon. Over 30% of production is exported to more than 32 countries across North America, Europe, Africa, and the Far East, with the remainder enjoyed domestically.
