Vosne Romanee Les Champs Perdix 2014 is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Bruno Clair. The grapes come from just 0.9 hectares of the "Les Champs Perdrix" Cru, this magical plot located just above a la Tâche, about 5 meters away. Its soil is very poor, it is difficult to work and the vines took more than 30 years to settle correctly, in fact in 1993 the wines lacked a little finesse, necessary quality of the wines of Vosne-Romanée, however today this Cru is magnificently fine and balanced. It is already pleasant and elegant after 3 or 4 years in the bottle, but it can easily be refined in the cellar for 10 years. Very elegant, Les Champs Perdrix offers a broad olfactory profile that opens with notes of white flowers with hints of strawberry and cherry. Then spices like pepper, cloves, cinnamon. In the mouth it is elegant and balanced, rich and with a long olfactory persistence. A true masterpiece.
