Rosae 2024 Giuseppe Rinaldi
The Rosae 2024 by Giuseppe Rinaldi embodies one of the most personal and genuine expressions of this iconic Barolo estate, a wine deeply rooted in the family’s history and in Beppe Rinaldi’s vision of convivial drinking. Today crafted by his daughters Marta and Carlotta, the Rosae is produced outside the official denomination and therefore does not display the grape variety on the label, fully respecting regulatory requirements. Despite this, it maintains a strong territorial identity and an intensely aromatic, enveloping profile that recalls the varietal character even within the Langhe landscape.
Beppe affectionately described it as a wine for joyful occasions, perfect to share during the traditional merende sinoire with salumi and cheese. It was never meant to be a wine for long ageing: its low acidity, soft structure, and marked primary aromas make it ideal to enjoy young, when it best expresses freshness, fragrance and immediacy.
In the glass it shows a deep ruby-red colour with vibrant purple highlights. The nose is dominated by the distinctive scent of rose, followed by red-fruit tones and delicate spicy hints. The palate is soft, warm and rounded, supported by a pleasant persistence. The finish is harmonious and gentle, fully reflecting the approachable, convivial style that has always defined this unique wine within the Rinaldi range.
