Roero Arneis “Renesio” DOCG 2020 Malvirà
The Roero Arneis “Renesio” DOCG 2020 by Malvirà comes from the Renesio vineyard in Canale, the historical cradle of the Arneis grape. The sandy-calcareous soils of the Roero hills and the ideal exposure give the wine remarkable aromatic depth and structure.
Made from 100% Arneis grapes cultivated under certified organic farming since 2017, the wine undergoes fermentation and aging in stainless steel for about 7–8 months, with frequent bâtonnage on fine lees. This technique enhances texture and aromatic richness, while maintaining freshness and varietal purity.
In the glass, it shows a pale straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. The bouquet reveals floral and fruity aromas with light herbal tones, featuring white peach, citrus, and wildflowers. On the palate, it’s smooth and almost oily in texture, yet perfectly balanced by a crisp, savory minerality and a pleasantly soft finish.
Ideal with sushi and sashimi, seafood pasta, rabbit, and fresh cheeses, the Roero Arneis “Renesio” showcases the refined, terroir-driven style that defines Malvirà’s interpretation of the great white wines of the Roero.
