No Sulfite No Cry by Lilian et Sophie Bauchet is a natural red wine crafted from Gamay grapes grown on schist and granite soils in Mogneneins, Beaujolais. This wine celebrates the joyful spirit of the region: whole bunches undergo carbonic maceration for three weeks, followed by spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and a 6-month aging in barrels.
On the nose, it reveals notes of strawberries and raspberries, with light hints of leather. On the palate, it’s crunchy, juicy, and layered, finishing with a pleasant bitterness. No sulfites added—just the pure soul of Gamay.
Ideal with raw meat dishes, cold cuts, rich pastas, or a marinated beef carpaccio with arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, almonds, and aged pecorino. Great now, and even better with a little age.
