Langhe Dolcetto De Dulcis in Fundo 2019 is a Piedmontese red wine from Luigi Vico's range. The name plays on the belief that Dolcetto is very often believed to be a sweet wine just because of its name, in response to this Luigi Vico states "let's talk about the sweet later!"
This is in fact a dry, fruity and juicy wine that ferments and macerates for about 12 days in stainless steel containers, followed by malolactic fermentation in November. The subsequent ageing takes place half in 10 hL Slavonian oak casks and half in stainless steel for a period of 6 months.
Luigi Vico's Langhe Dolcetto De Dulcis in Fundo 2019 expresses at sight a beautiful and lively ruby red color with purple hues. The nose is mainly fruity, for a fresh and juicy sip where we perceive aromas of wood and almond.
