Gevrey Chambertin 2019 Jean Fournier

The 2019 Gevrey Chambertin is a red wine from Burgundy produced using natural methods by Domaine Jean Fournier. Gevrey-Chambertin is a red wine with a feminine personality, round, enveloping and persistent.

Pinot Noir grapes come from two parcels (Clos Prieur, Creux Brouillard) of the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. Grapes are partially destemmed, cold macerated, with no added yeast and no filtration.

The subsequent aging is done in medium size oak casks. This wine expresses a very refined nose composed of fruity and smoky aromas, for a smooth and enveloping sip.
