The 'Silène' Crozes-Hermitage 2020 is an elegant and balanced northern Rhône red wine produced by the important Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Sélection. This label is also part of the range of wines made from grapes from vineyards that are not owned by the Chave family, which nevertheless controls every production step.

It is made from 100% Syrah grapes from vineyards located in Saviaux and Gervans, two terroirs with different characteristics that give the wine great balance in taste. Traditional vinification involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wooden tonneaux and steel tanks, followed by maturation for 15-18 months in barriques.

The Silène Crozes-Hermitage 2020 from Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Sélection expresses a nose of ripe fruit such as plum, black pepper, graphite and other spices, for a balanced and pleasant sip.
