Jean François Ganevat's Côtes du Jura Montferrand Savagnin is a testament to his dedication to Savagnin white wines. This cuvée comes from ancient vines grown on marnes du lias soils, which give unique characteristics to the wine. Unlike the traditional vins jaunes of the region, this dry white wine is aged in fûts ouillés, limiting the contact of the must with the air.
Sincere and generous, this dry Savagnin captures the attention of connoisseurs with a bouquet dominated by nuts, including sweet notes of walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts. There are also hints of yellow fruit, such as peaches and apricots, together with elegant hints of pâtisserie, which further enrich the complexity.
