Costa d’Amalfi Bianco 2022 by Marisa Cuomo captures the essence of the Amalfi Coast, a breathtaking landscape where heroic viticulture is practiced on terraces carved into the rock and overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. At 300–400 meters above sea level, Falanghina and Biancolella vines benefit from intense sunlight, constant sea breezes and the mineral richness of dolomitic-limestone soils. These elements shape a wine defined by freshness, sapidity and a distinctly Mediterranean aromatic profile.
The grapes are vinified in stainless steel to preserve their purity and the expressive character of the fruit. Ageing also takes place in steel, allowing the wine to retain its natural brightness, aromatic finesse and saline tension. The result is a white wine that stands out for clarity, elegance and drinkability.
In the glass, it shows a vibrant straw-yellow color. The nose is refined and expressive, with notes of yellow fruit, citrus zest, wild herbs, ginestra blossoms, light tropical hints and a delicate marine nuance. The palate is flavorful and well-balanced, offering juicy freshness and marked sapidity that give length and precision to the sip. The finish is clean, slightly almond-tinged and pleasantly persistent.
