Champagne Grand Vintage 2004 Moët & Chandon
The Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2004 is one of the most refined expressions of the historic Champagne house, produced exclusively from the finest grapes grown across more than 1,100 hectares and 370 parcels, many of which are Grand Cru.
For this vintage, cellar master Benoît Gouez crafted an equal blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, with a dosage of 5 g/l. The 2004 vintage benefited from a mild climate and abundant, perfectly healthy grapes, producing wines with remarkable structure, balance, and aging potential. The Champagne spent 7 years aging on lees, developing extraordinary aromatic complexity, minerality, and finesse. Its bouquet reveals yellow fruits, candied citrus, and delicate spices like ginger and white pepper.
On the palate, the Grand Vintage 2004 is soft, round, and flavorful, with a lively freshness and a harmonious finish alternating mineral and subtle sweet notes. Perfect as a luxury aperitif, it pairs elegantly with refined seafood, shellfish, and white meat dishes, and is also suitable for cellar aging and collectors. A true emblem of Moët & Chandon’s style, this Champagne combines elegance, finesse, and complexity in a single bottle.
