Canavese DOC Rosso “l’Liverghin” 2019 Terre Sparse
The Canavese DOC Rosso “l’Liverghin” 2019 by Terre Sparse originates from morainic soils with medium texture, a defining feature of the Canavese area that gives the wine structure and regional identity. The vineyards, averaging 15 years of age and trained in Guyot, are managed to ensure consistent quality.
Harvest takes place in mid-October, with manual selection of the grapes. During vinification, the different varieties are blended at crushing, with proportions adjusted each year to best reflect the vintage conditions. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for at least 8 months in stainless steel, preserving its freshness and primary fruit character.
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red color. The bouquet is intense and expressive, featuring sour cherry, red berries and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it is smooth, balanced and gently tannic, supported by a lively acidity that enhances drinkability.
“L’Liverghin” is designed to be highly versatile, pairing well with cold cuts, pasta dishes, red and white meats, as well as more casual occasions like a structured aperitif. A wine that authentically represents Canavese while remaining approachable and enjoyable.
