Calcinares Blanc 2020 Domaine Gauby

Calcinares Blanc 2020 is an organic white wine from Languedoc-Roussillon produced by Domaine Gauby. It is produced with Muscat, Macabeo or Chardonnay grapes cultivated according to organic farming principles with full respect for the environment. The wine ages for 8 months and it is an extremely lively and sapid white wine which shows in the glass a brilliant straw yellow color and an intense nose of white fruits and flowers with hints of citrus fruits, which with time evolves in hints of dried fruits. In the mouth we find the same aromas we perceived in the nose, for a well balanced sip between structure and freshness.

DOMAINE GAUBY

Domaine Gauby is a reference point for the production of French natural wines. Located at Calce, in Roussillon, the Domaine has about 45 hectares of vineyards with plants which are more than one century old. Respect for ecology is the philosophy at the base of this winery, certified organic since 2001, in the cellar as well as in the vineyard are practiced the least possible interventions, with the exclusive use of indigenous yeasts, no acidification of the wine nor sweetening of the must, no clarification nor filtration.
