Vitovska 2018 Kante
The Vitovska 2018 is a pure expression of the philosophy of Kante, a renowned winery from the Karst area near Trieste and a leading interpreter of the region’s native grape varieties. The wine is produced from 100% Vitovska, a traditional local grape cultivated in vineyards located at around 250 meters above sea level. The soils consist of red earth and limestone rock, with strong natural drainage that enhances aromatic precision and pronounced minerality.
For more than two decades, Vitovska has been a symbol of the winery’s dedication to native varieties and to the unique terroir of the Karst plateau.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale straw yellow color, bright and refined. The aromatic profile is delicate and distinctive, revealing fresh spring notes, subtle floral hints, and aromas of green apple, accompanied by nuances of wild herbs, basil, and rosemary.
On the palate, it stands out for its balance and precision. The sip reveals a perfect synthesis of minerality and salinity, evoking the sea and the limestone rock that define the Karst landscape. The finish is clean, elegant, and persistent, making this Vitovska a refined and food-friendly white wine.
