Valpolicella Superiore 2015 Marco Mosconi
Marco Mosconi's Valpolicella Superiore 2015 is an excellent wine from Veneto that authentically tells us about the terroir of Valpolicella. It comes from a blend of typical grape varieties of the area such as corvina, corvinone, croatina, oseleta and rondinella, from soils composed of calcareous marl.
It is produced according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture with great attention to the respect of the territory and the oenological traditions of the area. The wine is aged for two years in oak tonneau and for another six months in bottle before being released on the market.
To the eye it expresses an intense ruby red color, whereas to the nose it offers a complex bouquet of ripe pink fruits such as plum and berries, spices, toasted and balsamic notes. The taste is full bodied, balanced between smoothness and sapidity, persistent with a balsamic finish.
