Syrah Cortona Mementum 2015 Paolo Magi

Syrah Cortona Mementum 2015 is a Tuscan red wine produced by the Paolo Magi winery. It is made from pure Syrah grapes from the hills of Cortona, in Tuscany, one of the most suitable areas in Italy for the cultivation of this variety.

Each stage of production is carried out in an artisanal manner with the utmost care and attention for the environment and to obtain the highest quality from the grapes, the starting point for the production of quality wines. The yields in the vineyard are very low and only a limited number of bottles are produced each year. This wine ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and matures in wooden barrels for 12 months.

The Syrah Cortona Mementum 2015 by Paolo Magi has a beautiful ruby red colour and a nose with an aromatic bouquet characteristic of the variety made up of hints of black pepper and red fruit, enriched with toasted and spicy notes that are conferred by the refinement in barrels. The taste is long, savoury and mineral, with a tannin present but silky that makes the sip very pleasant and satisfying.
