Vino Bianco Spumante Balmetto Terre Sparse
The Vino Bianco Spumante Balmetto® by Terre Sparse is a sparkling wine deeply rooted in its territory, combining technical precision with a unique natural aging environment. It comes from vineyards averaging 10 years of age, trained in pergola canavesana and Guyot systems on morainic soils with medium texture.
Harvest takes place in mid-September, with manual selection and collection in small crates. The base wine undergoes a 15-day maceration, an uncommon approach for sparkling wines, enhancing structure and aromatic complexity. After racking, the wine rests on its lees for about 3 months, developing depth and character.
It is then prepared for secondary fermentation in bottle, which takes place inside the historic Balmetto, a natural cellar formed centuries ago by the Balteo glacier. Thanks to its constant temperature and humidity, the wine ages for 18 months, gaining finesse, balance and a strong sense of place.
In the glass, it shows a deep straw yellow color with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is complex and refined, with yeasty notes, bread crust and harmonious fermentation aromas. On the palate, it is broad, structured and enveloping, balanced by lively freshness.
This sparkling wine is perfect for elevated aperitifs, seafood, shellfish and structured dishes, but can also shine throughout a meal. A true expression of nature, time and craftsmanship.
