Ribeira Sacra "Lapola" 2018 Domio do Bibei
Lapola 2018 is a Spanish white wine produced in the Ribeira Sacra DO by Dominio do Bibei. It is a very interesting, complex and multifaceted white wine, one of the most interesting projects recently produced by winemaking in Galicia.
It is made from a blend of the indigenous Godello, Albarino and Dona Blanca grape varieties, aged 15 months on the lees. Dominio Do Bibei's Lapola 2018 is made from 70% Godello, 20% Albarino and 10% Dona Blanca grapes that grow at an altitude ranging from 400 to 750 m asl on predominantly sandy soils. After manual harvesting with rigorous selection of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously with native yeasts, while refinement takes place in 600-litre barrels for two years.
On the nose it expresses scents of flowers and white fruit and balsamic notes; in the mouth it has a nice freshness and sapidity.
