It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that grow in the village of Viré-Classé from 60 year old vines, it expresses citrus aromas and mineral notes, hints of apricot that we find again in the mouth together with a marked freshness and a good minerality.

Embellie Chardonnay 2016 Domaine Maryse Chatelin

Embellie Chardonnay 2016 is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Maryse Chatelin. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that grow in the village of Viré-Classé from vines of an average age of 60 years on clay and limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small crates and then gently pressed. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in barriques where the wines are aged before spending a further 24 months in stainless steel and being bottled. The 2016 Bourgogne Chardonnay L'Embellie from Domaine Les Fauvettes expresses citrus aromas and mineral notes, hints of apricot that we then find in the mouth along with a marked freshness and a good minerality for a pleasant sip that ends with a savoury finish.
