CONTERNO FANTINO
Founded in the early 1980s by Diego and Claudio Conterno along with Guido Fantino, Conterno Fantino winery is one of the most prestigious and longstanding estates in the Langhe region of Piedmont. The vineyards, managed organically across renowned crus such as Ginestra, Mosconi, Castelletto, and Bussia, are cultivated with sustainable practices including organic fertilization, green pruning, and low use of copper and sulfur.
The production process is marked by exceptional technical precision and strong environmental commitment, with a recently renovated cellar optimized for renewable energy use. The wines, especially the Barolos, undergo about 10 days of maceration and mature in new French oak barriques, developing intense aromas with fruity and forest notes, and a powerful yet balanced structure.
Conterno Fantino stands for quality, tradition, and ecological innovation, producing wines with great character and aging potential, highly prized by discerning connoisseurs.
