Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers 2019 Domaine Taupenot Merme
Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers 2019 is a fine red wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Taupenot Merme. It is one of the most prestigious labels in the Taupenot Merme range, a structured wine that is predisposed to long ageing as are all those from the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation, with a particular mineral streak.
It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the eponymous 1er Cru vineyard, processed according to organic and sustainable farming principles, and is aged in 30% new oak for between 12 and 14 months.
The 2019 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers shows a deep ruby red colour to the eye, with an intense nose composed of fruity hints of wild berries and mineral notes that become increasingly evident as the wine oxygenates in the glass. The sip is medium-bodied, tannic and fresh, long and very well suited to ageing.

VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts with maceration for 18-23 days in contact with the skins in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aging for 12-14 months in 30% new oak barrels.
